Hi Parents,
We arrived safely in South Korea last night and met our host families at Solvit Middle School. It was a great flight and although the students were quite tired, they were ready for action.
Today was our first day in Korea and we spent the day at the school in the morning where we performed some songs and the boys did the Haka. We were then treated to a surprise magic show from their principal which was awesome!
The students are starting to realise how different NZ and Korean schools are, both in facilities and school structure. They have noticed the huge amount of respect the students have for the teachers and each other.
This afternoon we visited a Korean traditional folk village. The students were able to see some historical Korean buildings and sample some traditional sweets.

Tomorrow is our DMZ tour so it's another early start.
